Bringing Bayview Glen’s Bold Strategy to the Life

At ED_PARA Education Communications, we are always excited to collaborate on efforts that mirror our values of inventive thinking and creative excellence. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Bayview Glen, a highly regarded private school in Toronto, to produce a launch video for their new strategic plan, Be Bold. This ambitious plan, shaped by the school’s community under the leadership of Head of School James Lee and in collaboration with Future Design School, outlines Bayview Glen’s vision for the future from 2024 to 2029.

Our creative team spent a day at the school, capturing the energy and vibrancy of its students and educators. Through organic day-in-the-life footage, we highlighted the uniquely welcoming atmosphere that makes Bayview Glen stand out as a large school with a close-knit, inviting community. We aimed to create a sense of constant forward movement and progression, emphasizing the students’ journey from Junior School to graduation.

To reflect the forward-thinking and dynamic nature of Bayview Glen’s strategic plan, we incorporated bold typography and a strong visual style, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and themes of the plan itself.

Additionally, we worked closely with a small group of students to film a dynamic intro and outro, as well as a series of hero-shot affirmations that anchor the school’s values: Be courageous. Be compassionate. Be curious. Be Bold.

We are proud of the final product, which not only celebrates Bayview Glen’s past and present but also sets the tone for the school’s bold future. The strategic plan’s emphasis on the school’s mission—Whole Child, Purposeful Life, Better World—resonates deeply with our own mission at ED_PARA, making this project a perfect collaboration.
