Connects Unconference: AI in Education

Earlier this week, the educational landscape in Ontario witnessed a dynamic convergence of minds at the Connects Unconference, organized by CIS Ontario. This vibrant gathering brought together over 130 educators from CIS Ontario and CAIS member schools.

Unlike traditional conferences, this event was not just about passive absorption of knowledge but a proactive engagement where participants shaped their learning journey through collaboration.

The Connects Unconference offered two keynote addresses, thematic strands, and collaborative sessions. From delving into AI's potential to enhance instructional practices to exploring its role in student assessment and feedback, each strand was a deep dive into the transformative power of AI in education.

The Connects Unconference was as a testament to the spirit of innovation and exploration that defines CIS Ontario's commitment to pushing the boundaries of education. They are reminders that in the age of AI, it's not just about embracing technology but harnessing its power to create meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
